Playing in her first season for the team and having only joined last winter, she has settled in fantastically and is enjoying her football. Full of energy, hard work and no shortage of ability on the ball, she is a tough tackling superstar who has a bright future in the game. Paying attention to her coaches and concentrating at all times, she never seems troubled on the pitch and playing alongside her friends and team mates, she's already built up a strong bond with them all.

U9 Girl of the Match vs Borehamwood 2000

Congratulations to Eden, who was awarded the H&L Construction Solutions LTD sponsored LGDA U9 Girl of the Match on Saturday 23rd September for her performance against Borehamwood 2000 U9 girls. Always listening and learning at training, Eden has been working so hard and her defensive play is just getting better and better with each game. The timing of her tackles and her ability to break up the play and stop the opposition has been fantastic, and she is now continuing to work on her passing and distribution.
Coaches Kayleigh and Chris are so pleased with Eden's progress and we all look forward to seeing her football development continue at the club.

U9 Players of the Match vs Hemel Aces

Congratulations to these two young superstars of the future, having been awarded as Player of the Match in their exciting and entertaining match against Hemel Aces U9 girls on Saturday 16th Spetember. On a lovely sunny day at Sun Postal Sports Club, Elena was chosen as our H&L Construction Solutions Player of the Match for her all-round efforts throughout the game. Her interceptions, bringing the ball out from defence, communication and passing was brilliant. As well as her support for her team mates.
Betty was voted by Hemel Aces as their opposition Player of the Match. A fantastic gesture and they chose Betty for her footwork, brilliant goal, passing and tireless work throughout. Betty has been doing a lot of hard work pre-season to get herself ready to play in her first ever season and she's enjoying every minute of it.

Opening match full of excitement, promise and lots of fun!

The U9's started their campaign away to Berko Raiders. It was a competitive and tough opening fixture for the young Phoenix stars and they created a lot of chances. Unfortunately luck was not on their side in front of goal, but they played brilliantly and always with a smile. Coach Chris said "The girls were amazing and put in a really good display with some nice passing football. So many individual positives to take from the game and we'll work on them at training".
There was also a League debut for Amelia, who put in a fantastic performance to earn her the Player of the Match award.
